true story. is buried in the cemetery of Mission Santa Barbara.
Lasuén, Fermín, b. 1736, Vitoria, Spain,
d. 1803. Buried in San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo. The second
president of the California Missions.
Serra, Junipero, d. 1784. Buried in San Carlos Borromeo
de Carmelo. The first president of the California Missions.
