Tayman Cemetery
Rosaryville, Prince George County, Maryland

10301 Old Indian Head Hwy, Rosaryville MD

Lat: 38° 44' 54"N, Lon: 76° 48' 44"W

Contributed by Anne Braun, Dec 23, 2004 [annieb1961@comcast.net]. Total records = 16.

In Rosaryville, from the intersection of Highway 301 and Old Indian Head Highway, go south/southwest on Old Indian Head Highway for 1 mile until you reach 10301 Old Indian Head Highway. Turn there and go into the driveway. The cemetery is about 200 feet west/northwest of the house. Ask permission before visiting.

This small private cemetery is owned and well maintained by the Tayman family. A relative from the Tayman family showed the cemetery to me.

The first burial took place in 1876. It is no longer being used for new burials.

I walked and read all existing and legible stones on Dec 19, 2004.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
