Total records = 2.
In Faulkner, from the intersection of Highway 301 and Faulkner
Road, go onto Faulkner Road and go .75 miles south, past the railroad
tracks until you reach the Faulkner Ash Ste which is on the east
side of the road. Turn into the Faukner Ash Site and go east for.3
miles, then north for .1 mile, then east again for .1 mile until
you hit a dirt-gravel road. The grave site is on the the northeast
corner of the intersection of the paved road and the dirt-gravel
road.
This is a little cemetery that only has two graves. Go to the
Visitor Center first to sign in. The old headstone was replaced
by a new one and the Daughters of the American Revolution put
a marker honoring Gerard Wood. The cemetery sits on the Faulkner
Ash site and it is well taken care of. I think the owner is not
planning to rebuild the house which was over 200 years old.
I visited and read this cemetery on Nov 03, 2007.
