To reach the cemetery, take the first road to your left as you are driving north into Metaline on Hwy 20. It is up a rather steep incline, then keep to the left. The cemetery is at the end of the road. The town is small if you get lost, just ask someone.

The cemetery is owned and well maintained by the town of Metaline. When I was reading it, there was a survey team working the cemetery, replatting it. They said it was difficult because there was no planning with the first burials. They were trying to lay it out with a better plan and still utilize the most space.

There were areas with the white wooden crosses, telling me I do not have all of the names for this cemetery. I will continue to try to find old records to add. If anyone knows a name I do not have with proof they are buried here, please let me know.
