Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park
Seattle, King County, Washington

The Doughboy Monument in the Washelli side of the cemetery. This monument was originally cast in 1928 and had been standing at the Seattle Center until it was moved here in 1998. Also located here are two original cannons from the Constitution (Old Ironsides).

This cemetery had held the largest number of veterans burials in the entire state of Washington until the recently established Tahoma National.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
