DNA analysis and historical evidence were used to positively identify the remains as belonging to Sgt. Albert A. Forgue, who served with the 644th Bomber Squadron, 410th Bomber Group, Light and lost his life on December 13, 1945. He is now interred at Arlington National Cemetery, but his name is permanently inscribed on the Tablets of the Missing at Lorraine American Cemetery. His remains at Arlington are buried next to members of his unit, John F. Lubben and Charles L. Spiegel.
