Killarney is located close to the border of Queensland and New South Wales on the Darling Downs and is approximately 32Kms from Warwick.

This cemetery is still in use and is maintained and administered by the Warwick Shire Council. Although when visited the cemetery was in good condition the older sections of the cemetery show signs of neglect. There are basic public facilities available.

The transcriptions were made from digital images taken and notes made in September 2003 by Stephen Batterham and I. The list of inscriptions comprise all visible inscriptions at that time.
