To reach this cemetery, from the court house in New City NY, drive west on Hempstead Road for about 3 blocks, turn right/north onto Little Tor Road for about 1 mile. Cemetery will be in the field on the left. If you come to Phillops Hill Rd, you went too far.

This is a small family cemetery, which was used during the time of the Revolutionary War. It is situated on the private property of Dr Bert Feldman, in the south corner. One needs to obtain permission to access it.

The earliest death date is 1821 and the latest date is 1879. It is quite small in size only covering an area of about 10' x 10'.

I walked and transcribed this cemetery in Apr of 2006.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
