History
Webster Union Cemetery was first used as a burial ground one August 23, 1820, when Benjamin Woodhull was laid to rest. In 1824, the ground was officially established as a cemetery. One September 6, 1851, a society was organized as "Union Cemetery of Webster". One March 4, 1898, it was incorporated as a non-profit organization. In April of 1954, the name was changed to Website Union Cemetery to avoid confusion with Union Hill Cemetery.
