McGolenick-Phillips Cemetery
Washington County, Maryland

19400 Frog Eye Road
Knoxville, MD

Lat: 39° 21' 40"N, Lon: 77° 40' 46"W

Contributed by Anne Braun, Jan 06, 2003 [annieb1961@comcast.net]. Total records = 13.

From the intersection of US Highway 340 and State Highway 67, go north on Highway 67 for 1.5 miles until you hit Frog Eye Road. From there turn and go west .4 of a mile. The cemetery is on the north side of the road.

It is a small well kept family cemetery that dates back to 1880. Some of the descendents of this cemetery are buried at the Assembly of God which is about .5 miles south of there.

I walked and read all existing tombstones on Jan 04, 20032.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
