From Hwy 9 and H Rd, in Cedar, Kansas go North 1 Mile to 240 Road. Turn east onto 240 Road. The cemetery sits on the south side of the road.
This is a very well maintained cemetery. It was established around 1882. It was located on the North side of the road then was moved to the South side later. Land was purchased from J.C. & Mary Harris.
At one time this was called Cedarville, but has been changed to just Cedar for both the town and the cemetery.
Robert Gillis and I walked this cemetery in Sep of 2005. This includes all existing and legible headstone readings.
