Cemetery History

The Tuscola Cemetery was established in 1857. Elijah S. Terry deeded four acres to a cemetery company to be used for burial purposes. The four acres where in the southeast corner of the Tuscola section is now the old part of the cemetery. Since that time there have been a total of 7 additions to the cemetery.
