Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery is owned by the City of Buckeye, and operated by The Buckeye Fire Department.

Originally established in 1938 by the American Legion Hazelton-Butler Post 53, the cemetery is named in the honor of the first young man from Buckeye who lost his life in World War I. In 1947, the Legion transferred the cemetery to the City of Buckeye, where it remains today.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
