Cemetery Records

Records below were transcribed from "Valley Leaves, Volume 13, No. 3, March 1979", a publication of the Tennessee Valley Genealogical Society. That publication had published this transcription originally created by Mary E. Alstrom of Florence, AL. Mrs. Alstrom is a direct descendant of the Weatherfords buried here. John Weatherford was at one time Sheriff of Franklin County, and his son, Dr. W. W. Weatherford, was the only physician in Frankfort. Dr. Weatherford later served in the State Legislature for a period of about ten years. (View a PDF copy of the original transcription)

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
