Driving Directions

Lac Drolet is a small, scenic town northeast of Lake Megantic near the Lake of the same name. It was formerly Saint Samuel de Gayhurst (Gayhurst Township) from 1885 to 1968 and was part of Frontenac County until the counties were abolished and changed into Municipal Regional County Municipalities. It is now part of le Granit MRC. The cemetery is on rue Principale which becomes Route de la Station.

Cemetery History

The Parish was created in 1907 but there are burials in this cemetery as early as 1884.
