The Cemetery is located off of Rt. 21 South in Mineral Wells, next to the West Virginia Motor Speedway. It is surrounded by a barbed wire fence at the far end of a cattle pasture.

This is an old family cemetery with no public access. The property was once owned by Richard Reeder, but is now owned by Bob Matheny of Mineral Wells. The cemetery is very overgrown and many of the stones are in very poor condition, many have fallen over and are broken.

The cemetery was last used in 1979. There are several unmarked graves. I could not get an accurate count because of the overgrowth. I did count 12 graves marked only with rocks, fieldstone, or ilegible stones in addition to the trascription.

I obtained permission from Mr. Matheny to walk and transcribe this cemetery. The transcription was done on May 12, 2002.
