Take Rt. 21 South out of Mineral Wells for about 11 miles. The Cemetery is on the hill to the left at the junction of Bogal Ridge Road and Rt. 21 South. This cemetery is on the Wood/Wirt County Line.

This cemetery is still active and very well maintained. It is owned by the Limestone United Methodist Church. The trustees for the cemetery are Jim Wigal (474-3312) and Robert Dent (474-3652).

The section closest to the church contains the oldest graves. Many are very weather worn and difficult to read. Complete accuracy of this transcription cannot be guaranteed, please verify dates with other sources.

This transcription was compiled in part from a previous transcription by Darrell Conger in 1986. I walked this cemetery on Jun 22, 2003 and made corrections and updates to the previous transcription.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
