History

Bonnett Prairie Cemetery was established in 1877. It is located in Otsego Township, Columbia County, Wisconsin, Rural Rio. Take State Road 16 to Cty Rd C, south on Cty C to Sampson Rd, east on Sampson, cemetery is on north side of road.

Note: There is a Hauges church site in Section 29, SW SW SE with a monument for the church. This has been referred to as the Old Bonnet Prairie church/cemetery, but was maybe never called that. To our knowledge there were no burials at this site. The same pastor served both Bonnet Prairie Church and the Hauges Church alternating Sundays with the two churches.
