Colfax Cemetery is located along State Highway 272, about 1 mile east Main St. Colfax. The cemetery lies on the north side of the highway along Cemetery Rd.

Colfax Cemetery was established on September 11, 1882 as the cemetery for the City of Colfax. It is owned and operated by Whitman County Cemetery District #6. It remains in good condition and still in use. The first addition was made July 07, 1905. The cemetery was originally only in Section 11, but now has added several more additions and extends into both 11 & 12 sections.
