From the intersection of Rtes 3/20 in northeast Orange County, go 1 mile west on Rte 3. Turn right onto Pilgrim Church Road just past the post office. The church is about 200 yards down on your right.

This is a small cemetery in a cleared -acre behind an older, wood frame church. The grounds are mown and clear of debris, with the cemetery section fronted by a white picket fence. Owner/Contact: Pilgrim Baptist Church. Phone: 540-972-2797.

This is a complete listing of all readable stones and markers at the time of my visit. Based on the mounded and bare terrain in several areas, it appears there are several older burials that are not marked.

I walked the grounds and transcribed all the gravestones and markers on Jun 26, 2012.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
