From Penola, go 2 miles northwest/west on Penola Road (Route 601) until you reach 20608 Penola Road. Turn onto dirt road and go south for .15 miles. The cemetery is east of the road about 40 yards.

This is a small family cemetery that is in fair condition. There are two missing headstones. One headstone that I saw was broken into three pieces and was partially buried. I also found one footstone with only initials on it. I compare my findings with a book called "Cemeteries of Caroline County Virginia Volume 2" which was published in 1995. The burials occurred between 1856 and 1869.
