Liberty Cemetery
Franklin County, Texas

Here we see one side of the cemetery, which has no lawn. The
story is that in the time the area was settled, people here swept
their yards with coarse home made brooms to keep them free of encroaching
vegetation. The cemeteries were kept the same way until fairly
recently.
