Total records = 5.
In Plano from Parker Road, turn south on Northgate Dr., west on Timberview
Dr., south on Twin Falls Dr and look for access to the back alley between
some of the houses.
This appears to be a family cemetery. The gate on the fence as one
enters the burial area has the name Collingsworth on it. The fence does
not totally surround the cemetery, but just the side facing the alley.
The headstones are all situated in an area roughly 1000 square feet,
or the size of a small house. I could not tell if there are more unmarked
burials. There is no indication that there have been any burials since
the early 1900s. The property is overgrown with weeds, bushes & trees.
It is said that this cemetery started following an epidemic of smallpox
in 1895, although no death dates reflect this date.
I walked this cemetery Dec 30, 2003, then transcribed from the photos
taken, which I am willing to share. This includes all existing headstones.
