From I-5 exit 55 or the Grants Pass Parkway, turn west onto Agness.
Follow Agness to Foothill Blvd and go south .4 miles. Cemetery is
on the right (west side) and is directly next to the Masonic Cemetery.
The Masonic Cemetery is situated next to the IOOF Cemetery
in Grants Pass. The dividing line is the road that goes straight
under the Masonic sign. Everything to the left of that is the IOOF
cemetery, right is the Masonic Cemetery.
The IOOF Cemetery was established in 1891. Then half of the land
was sold to the Masons for their cemetery in 1898. This cemetery
remains active today. Family plot stones are listed in the Miscellaneous
area. Information in parentheses does not appear on the marker,
but was acquired from research, families, cemetery and funeral
home records.
I visited and transcribed this cemetery in the summer of 2004
from all existing stones.
