Total records = 523.
Take Hwy 169 north from Tulsa, Ok. About 4 miles north of Talala, Ok
will be the turn off to Winganon, E W 30. Turn east about 10 miles. You
will cross Oologah Lake and go through Winganon about 2 miles. Turn south
on N S 420 road, it will be about 1/4 mile on right side of road.
Ketchum Cemetery was located west of old Alluew, OK. The town and cemetery
was moved to build Oologah Lake. There is a small sign that reads, Winganon
/ Ketchum Cemetery.
The cemetery is well maintained. There is some damage to stones. All
the stones that say concrete or Unknown are all made by the same company.
They are all just alike. The oldest marked grave is J H Zeleger, b.
5 Sep 1821, d. 28 Oct 1876. The names with a K in remarks came from
the Army Corps of Engineers.
I walked and recorded the cemetery in Jun 04, 2003.
