Lat: 38° 31' 41"N, Lon: 82° 39' 56"W
Perry Twp, Sec 20

Contributed by Teresa Applegate, Feb 17, 2004 [gretchen_07@yahoo.com]. Total records = 21.

This cemetery is situated on the NW corner of US 52 and County road 141, in Ironton, Ohio. You can see the cemetery from the highway.

This cemetery was established on 22 Jun 1851. It has not been well taken care of. A lot of stones broken and unreadable. Some scattered back in the woods. Those laying on the ground, not sure to whom some of them went.

I walked and read this cemetery in Sep of 2003. Not all people in this cemetery are represented, but this includes all existing and/or legible headstones & markers up to that date.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
