From Skaneateles take Rte 41A south to Benson Road and continue
to the end and cross 38A to Cemetery Road and continue about a quarter
of a mile or less, you will see the cemetery on the right.
This cemetery is east of Owasco, which is in Cayuga County. To
reach it from Owasco, take Rte 38A east just under a mile, turn
right onto Cemetery Road. I did not find out who owns and maintains
this cemetery. Probably the Owasco Rural Cemetery Association.
We found this cemetery very well maintained and still being used
for burials.
Helen Newell and I walked this cemetery in summer of 2007. We
also compared our findings with old records.
