Take the Belt Parkway to Exit 13 (Rockaway Parkway). Make right onto Rockaway Parkway. Go 3 blocks and make a left onto Seaview Avenue. Go about 7 blocks and make a right onto Remsen Avenue. Take Remsen Avenue northwest about 3 blocks. The cemetery is on the corner of Remsen Avenue and Avenue K.

This is a public, non-sectarian cemetery. Some of the earliest gravesites date from the mid- to late-1800s. Some graves are unmarked because there were many poorer families in the area. This cemetery is owned by the City of New York, General Services Administration.
