Cemetery History

St. Joachim's Cemetery was established in 1929, and located at 325 Washington Ave, in Beacon. It is not to be confused with their "old cemetery" located at 60 Falconer St., also in Beacon.

The old cemetery was established in 1865. But when the new cemetery opened in 1929, all new burials were directed there, with exception of persons with family plots in the old cemetery.
