Contributed by Shirley Olson, Feb 12, 2003 [shirley32olson@yahoo.com]. Total records = 2.

Directions: From Angier turn east on Hwy #210 and go 7.6 miles to a cotton field on your right. There is a driveway. Drive in about 100 ft. to the remains of a family cemetery. town of Coats was named for this family.

Of the 6 people thought to be buried here, only 2 headstones remain. The ruins of an Antebellum farmhouse sit another 100 feet back and all are surrounded by cotton fields. The nearby town of Coats was named for this family.

I walked and recorded this cemetery on Feb 07, 2003.
