Little Mount Baptist Cemetery
LaRue County, Kentucky

This listing was contributed by Edward Benningfield [knobcreekboy@mindspring.com].  Total records = 118.

Copied in Summer 1998

(Hodgenville map, Section 2-M-46 Carter coordinates, near the north line) The Little Mount Church was one of LaRue County's older churches. For years it has been thought to be the church attended by the Lincoln family when they lived on Knob Creek. The old cemetery, which dates back to the early 1800's, is about 500 yards west of Leafdale. The church building is gone and the cemetery, which is in the woods back from the road, is in poor condition. (The cemetery is not shown on topographic maps)

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
