May Cemetery
Daviess County, Kentucky

Contributed by Scot May, April 2000 [smay4241@aol.com]. Total records = 16.

Just got back from Daviess County Ky. My family and I went there to clear brush, trees and total overgrowth from the MAY cemetery site. It's located just past the 6 mile marker eastbound on Highway 144 on the south side of the road, just east of Ensor, KY. This cemetery was found with the help of Mr. Ben Coke, who did an "inventory" of this cemetery some years ago. Listed are the headstones I found plus one from his work, which I did not find.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
