Total records = 4.

At the intersection of Route 509 and Sideway Road bordering Elliott and Carter Counties The cemetery location is near the communities of Jacobs and Enterprise, KY.

Cemetery in disrepair, overgrown trees, vines, and ground cover. Disintegrating headstones and fieldstone markers for unmarked graves.

Some records were taken from court records showing that Jacob's land was in this vicinity. His Civil War records show that he was buried at "Enterprise, KY on the headwaters of Tygart Creek."

Several head and foot fieldstones indicate other graves. Dates for Jacob Justice from a neighbor near the cemetery.

I walked and researched this burial site in fall of 2003.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
