To reach cemetery from Conway Springs drive south onto State Hwy 49 for one mile, turn right or west and continue for 2.6 miles. Cemetery will be on the south side of the road. You will pass the Spring Hill Cemetery on your left before you reach the Amish Cemetery.

On May 7, 1918, a Warranty Deed was issued by Amos J Miller and his wife, Barbara Miller, to The Old Order of The Amish Mennonite Church. This consisted of a ½ acre of land, 147 ½’ x 147 ½’ in the NE corner of this NW quarter section. It was filed in the Register of Deeds Office, Sumner County, on May 13, 1918, 10 a.m. The families resided in the area from about 1916 to about 1942, when many of them moved to other areas, however, some still lived in the vicinity in 1950. - from Cemeteries in Sumner County, Kansas by Harvey and Ruth Swan (1983).

There are about 35 to 40 graves. All the markers are similar. The cemetery is laid out in a trianglular shape in the NW corner of the section. Attached is a diagram of the approximate shape of the cemetery and the approximate location of the tombstones, numbered in the order in which they were read. The names and information taken from the stones are listed, using these numbers to indicate their locations.

We did not find out who owns and maintains this cemetery.
