The Forrestville Cemetery began in the 1890. The town of Forrestville was shortlived, and no longer exists since about 1914, while the cemetery is still being used. In c.1896 there was a fire in Forrestville. All of the burial records for the cemetery up to 1896 cannot be found. An map dated Oct 02, 1911 is still used to record where someone is buried in the cemetery. - Darlene Kelich

Sections are numbered as follows: Sections 1-4 are in the front of the cemetery with the section furthest west being section 1 and a driveway dividing each section. Section 4 extends from the SE corner all the way back to the NE corner. Section 5 is the newer section in the center back.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
