Greenwood Cemetery is located in the town of Spirit Lake, Idaho which is on Highway 41. From the center of town turn east on Vermont St for several blocks, and it will end at the cemetery.

This cemetery is owned by the city of Spriit Lake. It is operated and and maintained by an appointed council, under the umbrella of the city council. Records can be obtained from the city clerk, info above.

It is divided into four sections, the city with the main part, and the records for the Mason and Veteran sections being maintained by one person and the Catholic section by another person. Neither of these groups would not share their records with me, so I was unable to identify them by section.

I have read all existing and legible stones, was able to compare my work with the sexton files. Those entries from the city section have the lot numbers when available. Information in parenthesis is from Sexton files and not on headstone. Those which say no date, either, have not died, or stone is not etched. Additional names added since 2004 as I find.

If there is an 'H' at the end of the listing, that means there is a stone but I do not have a photo. I obtained this information from Odette Brandt along with other helps to correct errors in my work.

I walked and read this cemetery on Jun 09, 2004, using my digital camera. I will share my photos with family. The added names Odette provided bring this cemetery up to date as of Jun 01, 2010.
