Orange Township Cemetery is approximately 3 miles south of the Shell Gas Station on Hwy 131 in Coon Rapid, IA. The dirt road on the east side of the station. Is the road you go south on. The county line (Guthrie & Carroll) is just 1/4 mile down this road. Don't turn off of this road, just keep going south. The cemetery is on the left side (East).

Orange Township cemetery originated in the late 1800's with the oldest existing stone being February 1872. This cemetery is still accepting burials. I determined there were at least 17 unreadable or damaged stones.

I surveyed this cemetery in May 2003, by reading all of the headstones. I have transcribed from this reading.
