The Highland Township Cemetery is located on the South East corner of the City of Churdan Iowa, which has State Highway #4 coming in from the east and turning north several blocks west of the Cemetery entrance.

Churdan IA is a small town of around 500 people. There is no phone # for this cemetery but anyone that might want to contact the City Clerks office there phone # is 515-389-3339.

This is still and active cemetery with burials continuing since about 1882 when it was established.

I transcribed this cemetery, starting in 1982 continuing until 1987. I have transcribed from those records in Jan 2001. This list is complete up to 1987.
