History
Okoboji Cemetery was established circa 1861.
13 Pioneer Graves
In the 1920s, crews were digging a gravel pit on the east edge of Arnolds Park city limits when 13 graves were found. Their remains were reinterred here at Okoboji Cemetery in plot# 2-133/5-8 with a marker that reads, "13 Unknown Pioneers".
