In Castlegar take Hwy 3 west for one Km and turn left at the road that has the Nursing home on the right as you turn.

This cemetery is owned and maintained by the municipality of Castlegar. I was in excellent condition and seems to be very well maintained.

The name Kinnaird comes from the fact there was a town by that name previously, very near to Castlegar. Not they have grown and been merged to be one city, that of Castlegar.

I walked and read this cemetery on Jul 14, 2003, using my digital camera. This includes all existing headstones. I would be happy to share my photos, if someone would like one of a family member's stone. When the record says photo, that is a photo on the stone.
