Directions: Located just north of Sunnyside city limits, the cemetery lies along Van Belle Rd, on the west side of Cemetery Rd.

Background: Lower Valley Memorial Garden is a cemetery complex that today encompasses what were originally three separate burial grounds: Old Sunnyside Cemetery, Sunnyside Memorial Park, and the grounds now known as Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, all administered under a common management and sexton, with records showing these sites were formally operated together as of around 2000. The historic Old Sunnyside Cemetery section, located on the north side of Van Belle Road, contains graves from many abandoned private cemeteries in the Lower Yakima Valley, while the newer sections on the south side of the road represent later expansions.
