Directions: The cemetery sits along the north side Gold Creek Rd (NF-1703), about 120 feet inside Yakima County line (despite most other publications stating it is just inside Kittitas County). Most maps label this cemetery as "Peterson Cemetery" when in fact it is Anderson. From the intersection of Gold Creek Rd and State Route 410, near the community of Pinecliff, head onto Gold Creek Rd and proceed exactly one mile. The cemetery should be on your right.
Background: The cemetery is on the hillside in the forest and is surrounded by a sturdy and attractive wire fence. It contains six graves and the enclosure is ornamented by a couple of wild rose bushes and a lilac bush and is carpeted with pine needles. The Anderson family lived nearby until they built their home on the land which has since become known as the Anderson Ranch.
