Directions: Exit 270 off of Interstate I5, head West 2.9 miles on Birch Bay-Lynden Road. Turn right onto Blaine Rd (SR 548). Continue North 1.2 miles. Cemetery entrance will be on the right hand side, just before California Creek.

Background: This cemetery has formerly been known as the California Creek Cemetery. Methodist worshippers built a church in 1871 on the south bank of California Creek on land that is now the California Creek Cemetery. James Rucker donated the land for the church and cemetery. The cemetery contains the graves of several of the Icelanders that came to this region.
