Background: Washington State Veterans Cemetery was dedicated May 31, 2010 and opened for interments on June 7, 2010. The site initially opened with 1,010 casket crypts, 2080 columbarium niches and 1,411 in ground cremation plots available to meet the initial interment needs across Eastern Washington.
