Directions: Located in the south-west corner of Tacoma city limits, the cemetery sits along the east side of Lakewood Dr between 70th St and 74th St.

Background: Calvary Cemetery dates back to 1905 when it was incorporated. Land adjacent to the Tacoma Pioneer Catholic Cemetery was obtained and lots were sold. Since that time more than 27,000 burials have taken place in Calvary Cemetery and it has grown to be one of the largest cemeteries in the area.
