Directions: From Tacoma, Washington cross the Narrows Bridge and follow signs to Fox Island. Cross the Fox Island Bridge and stay on the main road (Island Blvd). The cemetery is on the left side of the road 1-2 miles from the Fox Island Bridge.

Background: Fox Island Cemetery was established in 1910 when burials from private lands and a small cemetery in Sylvan were moved to this two-acre site. In 1911, the cemetery site was donated to the Cemetery Association by Mr. A. Hunter. It's the final resting place of Washington's Governor Dixy Lee Ray.
