Directions: The cemetery is located near Riverside, east of Hwy 97 on Tunk Creek Road in Okanogan County, Washington.

Background: The articles of the Tunk Creek Cemetery were drawn up in 1917 and recorded with the county auditor in 1924. The first burial was in 1900 before the plotting was done, so the first graves don't line up with the new lines. In 1976, new articles of incorporation were drawn up for the cemetery. The Tunk Valley Cemetery is now reserved for residents of Tunk Valley and their descendants. Liners are required for graves; up to three cremations can occupy one grave site; a copy of the deceased death certificate is requested for record keeping. The annual cemetery meeting and cemetery cleanup is the Sunday before the designated Memorial Day Monday.
