Directions: From I-5 in Olympia, take Hwy 101 North toward Shelton & Port Angeles. Take the 3rd Shelton exit "Wallace Kneeland Blvd". Turn right at the end of the off-ramp. Immediately turn right at the 1st signal onto Olympic Highway North. Go to "C" street and turn right (at the A&W). Follow this street for a few blocks and you'll be looking straight at the cemetery. From this angle, the cemetery office is on the far left.

Background: The organization managing Shelton Memorial Park (Shelton Cemetery Association) was formed in 1910, twenty years after the City of Shelton was incorporated. However, the cemetery has been in existence before then, as far back as 1887 when the grounds were parsed out into several independent cemeteries established by various fraternal and religious organizations (Masonic Lodge, American Legion, Holy Cross Catholic Church, the IOOF, and the county had operated a burial ground called Mount Hope.)
