Directions: From main intersection in Roslyn, turn left on Pennsylvania Ave, follow up hill past Roslyn Museum, merging onto 5th Ave. Follow signs for Roslyn Historic Cemeteries; turn left on Memorial Ave. Parking available next to information kiosk. Cemetery is a short walk from kiosk down roadway, left side, just after the Polish cemetery.

Background: Named in honor of a northern Italian patriot. Pellico was a carbonari, a member of a secret revolutionary society that influenced the development of Italian nationalism and contributed to Italian Unification in 1861. Roslyn Italians founded this lodge, Societa' Silvio Pellico and its cemetery in the early 1900s.
