Directions: To reach cemetery, take Highway 169 South of Black Diamond towards Enumclaw. Turn west (right) onto 400th at light (next to Krain Family Restaurant). Head 1/2 mile down 400th. Cemetery is on right hand side at corner of 400th and 254th. There is a "cemetery entrance" sign just before you reach the cemetery.

Background: Holy Family Cemetery was purchased in April 1900 from Matens and Marie Medie for the nearby Holy Family Church, a mission parish of Sacred Heart whose church building once stood east of the cemetery until the mid-20th century. Early records indicate the cemetery was originally called St. Gall the Abbot Cemetery, though over time it came to be known simply as Holy Family Cemetery or Krain Cemetery. In 2017, the cemetery was expanded and improved with new burial plots and infrastructure.
